May 13, 2007: Happy Mother's Day

It's been a nice day today. The weather has been sunny and 60 degrees out, which mades for a very nice spring day. After having a nice (and somewhat healthy) lunch with my dad, husband, and two beautiful girls, my oldest girl (who is 5) wanted to go golfing. We went to the Belle Isle driving range, and then to the nature zoo across the street.

Being that it is Mother's Day, I wanted to do something special with her while I was out, so we went for ice cream. Lindsey enjoyed a nice scoop of Superman ice cream. As for me, one Sander's chocolate malt later, I'm regretting it. Well, at least my body is, and now I'm wondering how I will ever get out and run this evening. I have to remember not to do that too often.

Well, I hope all of you enjoyed your day, even if you overindulged on ice cream!
